Mandatory drawing for partners (all names will be drawn of members who do not have a permanent partner). No pairing is allowed after the meeting is adjourned.
All non-boaters are required to pay the boater $20.00 sometimes during the tournament. Helps boater pay for expenses.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ALLOWED. Violators will be disqualified from that tournament and with possible dismissal from the Club after review by the Officers.
Throttle kill switch is recommended.
Live well with aerator is mandatory and in working order.
Any boater arriving for a tournament up to 2 hrs. late must notify a Club Officer and let them know that they have arrived. If you have a major problem, notify an Officer.
Life jackets mandatory at all times while boat is on plane. a. 1st offense - 1 pound penalty for that tournament. b. 2nd offence - 2 pound penalty for that tournament. c. 3rd offense - Dismissal from the Club.
Absolutely NO sharing of fish with another member. This could bring possible dismissal from the Club after review by the Officers.
All starts will be by boat number as drawn at the meeting, unless condition at ramp causes a change.
5-fish limit (3 fish for June, July, August) unless amount posted for waters fished, cull begins on the 6th fish. No culling of dead fish. Legal size is 12-inch, with mouth closed on a flat board. Decision of Tournament Chairman is final.
SHORT FISH; If you think that you may have a short fish at weigh-in, you can get a courtesy measurement by the Tournament director before you weigh your fish and his decision is final. If you bring your fish to the weigh-in and there is a short fish you will be disqualified.
Trolling as a method of fishing is prohibited. "Long-lining" and/or "Strolling" (use of trolling motor or outboard motor to mechanically extend a cast) is NOT allowed.
No fishing within 50 yards of another competitor's boat when he is anchored or with the trolling motor in the up position or with power poles down or using spot lock. Use courtesy when approaching other fishermen.
Anyone leaving the tournament before weigh-in time must notify a club officer. We want to make sure all members are in and accounted for before we leave the tournament site.
Penalty for late returns at end of tournament; a loss of (1) one pound for each minute late, disqualified after 15 minutes. If you have a boat or motor problem, call someone to come and get your fish to weigh them in and then they or someone will go back to get you.
Mandatory release of live fish after weigh-in. Four (4) ounces, (.25 lbs.) will be deducted from total weight for each dead fish.
It is the member's responsibility, at the time of weigh-in, to insure that the number of fish caught, weight, etc., is entered into the club records correctly.
POINT SYSTEM- REGULAR TOURNAMENTS: Tournament standing will be determined by total weight, less 4 ounces, 0.25 lbs. for each dead fish. (50 points for 1st, 49 points for 2nd, and so on). Anyone not catching fish will receive 5 points less than the last person catching a fish. The 4 lowest tournament scores for the year will be thrown out.
In the event of a tie, the two people that are tied will add the prize money and/or points together and divide the total of each between them with the next place being left blank. (Example: 2 people tied for first place, add prize money and or points together for first and second place, then divide them equally between the two participants. The second place will be left blank, and both will receive money and points and the member in third place will remain in third place.
OVER 9 LB. BIG BASS SIDE POT: $5.00 per month. At the start of a new club year the Big Bass side pot starts at 9 lbs. If someone catches a bass weighing 9.5 lbs. He wins the pot and then the pot starts the next month at 9.6 lbs. If at the end of the club year no one catches a bass 9 lbs. or more, the money rolls over and the weight starts at 9 lbs. for the next club year. The cost is $5.00 per month or you can pay to catch up by asking the side-pot chairman the amount.
